I have great news to share! The wait is over, and our litter of 2014 Way of Lights Plush Puppies has arrived! I would like to thank you for your patience. Even though it was a situation well beyond our control, we still felt very badly that you had to wait.
- If you have already been to the Way of Lights, made your donation and received the number/coded receipt for the puppy, you may come to our Information Desk inside the Visitors Center any day between the hours of 9 am & 9 pm to claim your puppy. Please be sure to bring that receipt with you for each puppy.
- If you haven’t already been here or were waiting to come back when the puppies arrived, we look forward to seeing you soon! I would highly recommend coming sooner rather than later because, as you may well know, we tend to run out of the animals before the end of the Way of Lights. I want to be sure you are able to get one….or as many as you would like.
- If you want to avoid the super long lines that we tend to have especially on the weekends as we get closer to Christmas, I have a couple of suggestions.
- First of all, weeknights (Monday – Thursday) are the BEST times to come see the lights and take in all of the activities. On that note, Tuesday is Family Night which means that the activities that do have a small fee such as the laser show, animal rides, souvenir photos, etc. have special discounts for that evening making it even more economical for families to take in all of the fun!
- Also, you may come into our Gift Shop inside our Visitors Center between the hours of 10 am & 9 pm to make your donation and receive your puppy.
- While you are here, if you haven’t tried our Shrine Restaurant, I HIGHLY recommend it! During the hours of 11 am – 2 pm, we have a fabulous soup & salad buffet featuring EIGHT homemade soups each day along with an amazing salad bar! In the evening, we also have a delicious Way of Lights buffet. During either time, you can also order from our menu.
Thank you, again, for your patience and especially for your support of the Way of Lights! See you soon!
