Did You Know...
-
The Shrine is operated by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, a Catholic
order of priests and brothers serving the poorest of the poor in over 70 countries. -
In 1970, the Oblates began the Way of Lights as a way to keep outdoor staff
employed through the winter months and continue it today as a gift to our community. -
Volunteers at Minds Eye Information Service read magazines and newspapers over
the radio for people who are blind and print disabled. -
There's so much more to see and do at the Way of Lights than just the lights.
Experience indoor and outdoor activities for visitors of all ages. -
At the Way of Lights, you can ride a camel and can see our exclusive Laser Show depicting the story of Christmas.
-
"That God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16
